In recent times, as the world struggles to deal with increasing inflation, shortage of supplies and labour, and the cost of living crisis, the share markets around the world have been volatile. The IRD has also requested individuals fill in an IR 1261 where they derive overseas income potentially creating significant more work for tax agents/taxpayers.

Now more than ever before, advisors need to be aware of the options/pitfalls to ensure we advise our clients correctly in this highly technical area of the law.

This course will work through the Foreign Investment Fund regime at a high level also covering changes to the rules and common tax issues that investors are dealing with including disclosure requirements.
