When returning to New Zealand, there are a number of factors that may impact you:

  • Have you retained employment with your foreign employer?
  • Have you obtained superannuation accounts overseas?
  • Do you have offshore bank accounts?
  • Have you acquired shares and other investments overseas?
  • Have you been outside New Zealand for 10 years or more?
