Research and Development Tax Incentive (RDTI) and accessing the RDTI in-year payments (FREE webinar)

The R&D (research and development) Tax Incentive scheme is currently in its fourth year. This course is ideal for businesses currently undertaking R&D activities in New Zealand, incurring R&D expenses of more than $50k and interested in accessing the R&D Tax Incentive (process and timing). In some instances, the R&D Tax Incentive is refundable in cash.

A great add-on to the R&D Tax Incentive is the RDTI in-year payments scheme, which was launched in April this year. The RDTI in-year payments scheme is beneficial for businesses incurring R&D expenditure to receive payment of the credits prior to year-end, which in many cases provides these taxpayers with much needed cashflow benefits. We will work through the process to access RDTI in-year payments.

This webinar will be co-presented by Findex and TMNZ (who administer the RDTI in-year payments scheme).

Upon satisfactory completion of this activity you will be able to:

  • have a meaningful conversation with your clients undertaking R&D activities on accessing the R&D Tax Incentive
  • identify clients who may benefit from the RDTI in-year payments scheme.

Suited to…

Graduate to manager level and those who want a better understanding of the R&D Tax Incentive regime and the RDTI in-year payments scheme.

0.5 CPD hours (25 mins plus 5 min Q&A)
