Ethics for Members of CAANZ/NZICA 2025 – The Fundamentals Part 2 (Recent Changes)
Ethics are one of the cornerstones of our profession. Their existence and our accountability under them help increase trust in the profession.
The Code of Ethics has been changed and developed over the last 10 years. This webinar will review these changes. It will overview the rules and review three groups of changes.
The webinar will provide 1 hour of the six hours ethics training required by CAANZ/NZICA every 3 years.
Specifically, it will cover:
- NOCLAR (15-12-17)
- Rewrite (15-6-19)
- Further changes (31-12-21)
- Technology Changes (15-12-24)
The webinar will not cover anything to do with ethics for assurance and audit engagements.
Upon satisfactory completion of this activity, you will be able to:
- Explain the main features of the Ethics requirements of CAANZ/NZICA
- Meet 1 hour of the 6 hours of ethics training required by CAANZ/NZICA every triennium
- Consider the impact of the ethics requirements on your own work situation
