Ethics for CAANZ/NZICA Members in Practice 2025 (webinar)
The Code of Ethics sets out requirements and application material for members in public practice when applying the conceptual framework. The guidelines apply to all members in public practice, whether they provide assurance services or not.
This webinar will review the requirements and guidelines that apply to members in practice. The material will be illustrated by a number of practical examples.
Specifically, the webinar will cover:
- Introduction
- Conflicts of interest
- Professional appointment
- Second opinions
- Fees & remuneration
- Inducements, gifts & hospitality
- Custody of client assets
- Non-Compliance with Laws & Regulations (NOCLAR)
Note: The webinars will not cover anything to do with ethics for assurance and audit engagements.
Upon completion of the webinar, you will be able to:
- explain the main features of the Ethics requirements for CAANZ/NZICA members in practice
- articulate the impact of the ethics requirements for members in practice on their work situation
- meet one hour of training required by CAANZ/NZICA.
