Ethics for Members for CAANZ/NZICA – Managing Conflicts and Dilemmas (webinar)

The Code of Ethics provides a conceptual framework that members are to apply in order to identify, evaluate and address threats to compliance with the fundamental principles.

This webinar will review the conceptual framework, it’s requirements and guidelines. The webinar will also work through a case study that illustrates the application of the conceptual framework to a practical scenario. Specifically, the webinar will cover:

    • Identifying Threats
    • Evaluating Threats
    • Addressing Threats
  • Other Issues
    • Bias
    • Organisational Culture
  • Case Study

The webinar will not cover anything to do with ethics for assurance and audit engagements.

 

Upon completion of the webinar you will be able to:

  • Explain the process for dealing with ethical conflicts &/or dilemmas
  • Meet 1 hour of training required by CAANZ/NZICA.
  • Analyse the issues involved in ethical conflicts &/or dilemmas
  • Measure the impact of ethical conflicts &/or dilemmas on your work situation
