Ethics for CAANZ/NZICA Members 2023 (webinar)
Ethics are one of the cornerstones of our profession. Their existence and our accountability under them help increase trust in the profession. The Code of Ethics has had a number of changes in the last few years. This webinar series will a review the existing rules, including these changes. It will overview the rules and review three groups of changes.
The webinar will provide the 2 hours of training required by CAANZ/NZICA.
Specifically, it will cover:
- Ethics in General
- Fundamental principles
- NOCLAR (Changes 15-12-17)
- Rewrite (Changes 15-6-19)
- Further changes (Changes 31-12-21)
Throughout the webinar there will be a number of examples used to illustrate the points being made.
The webinar will not cover anything to do with ethics for assurance and audit engagements.
Upon completion of the webinar you will be able to:
- Explain the main features of the Ethics requirements of CAANZ/NZICA
- Meet the 2 hours of training required by CAANZ/NZICA every 3 years.
- Consider the impact of the ethics requirements on your work situation
This webinar is of general interest to all NZ members of CAANZ (formerly NZICA)
