Charities – Income Tax Issues 2024 (webinar)
Many groups in the community exist for purposes that the law recognises as being ‘charitable’. As these groups provide a benefit to the public, there are a number of tax concessions provided to them. In this webinar, we will look at practical issues that arise as a result of these concessions.
- Specifically, we will consider:
Income tax exemption - Donee status
- What is (or is not) a donation that qualifies for the tax credit
Upon satisfactory completion of this activity, you will be able to:
- understand more clearly the rules and principles
- identify relevant tax issues
- appreciate more deeply the tax implications in each of the areas
Suited to:
- intermediate through to advanced accountants in public practice who are dealing with charities
- accountants employed by charities.
