Motor Vehicle Ownership and Use – The Income Tax, GST and FBT Considerations 2024 (webinar)
The course will consider the income tax and GST issues of the ownership and use of a motor vehicle by a close company and its shareholder employees. It will cover the rules, important issues and practical implications.
Specifically, the webinar will consider the following:
- Different ways to finance a vehicle
- The fringe benefit tax rules for a passenger vehicle
- A worked case study, comparing financing under a finance lease or an operating lease or a hire purchase and ownership by the shareholder employee or the company.
