Tax Bill Update (webinar)

This course will look at the key tax changes contained in the latest tax bill. This Bill was introduced on 30 August and withdrawn on 1 September, but will be reintroduced mid-September without the controversial GST changes to KiwiSaver management fees.

The webinar will consider some of the significant changes in the Bill including:

  • Changes to the bright-line and interest deductibility rollover relief
  • Imposition of GST on supplies through digital marketplaces, which will impact those letting houses via Airbnb and the like
  • Changes to the GST apportionment rules that apply where supplies are used for taxable and non-taxable purposes

Upon satisfactory completion of this activity you will be up to date on the latest proposed changes to the tax system.

Suited to: Those wanting to stay up to date with the latest proposed tax changes.

1 CPD hour (45 minutes + 15 minutes Q&A)
